Willamette Criminal Justice Council

Welcome to the Willamette Criminal Justice Council (WCJC). We coordinate criminal justice plans for Benton County, promote agency communication, and create opportunities for more efficient service delivery.

We continually review our priority strategies and define new ones to meet the changing needs of our community.

A room is filled with a long wooden table and a large group of people sit on both sides.

Background

The Council was first brought together in 1993 to take a closer look at criminal justice planning. It was designed to promote and facilitate fair, efficient and coordinated criminal justice services in Benton County, develop long-range planning to deliver criminal justice services, and provide timely information about criminal justice matters to government agencies and the community.
